Thank you for writing this antirez, I think I'll remember it as a statement of some principles that I like to think I aspire to also: like many people here I guess, I would describe myself as someone who loves writing software, and in my own small way I've also tried to avoid being dragged into team/project management because that is not what I seek out of a lifetime involved with code. And, yes, I do like to think of writing code as a creative activity / form of expression. I also need to study your C code more! Perhaps I'll look at the early redis commits.
